Juhi Chawla, the most beautiful woman in the world to me. She is my all-time favorite Bollywood actress, and also my role model. This woman is one of those classic, irreplaceable actresses. I’ve idolized her since I was a child. She’s an amazing actress, with her adorable smile and bubbly personality. With her charming personality, she’s captured so many hearts. Her voice is so cute, too. When I was little, I thought we were so similar, just because we both had brown hair and brown eyes. I’ve watched a bunch of her films, but I think my favorites are the ones she starred in with Shahrukh Khan. They are my favorite on-screen couple because there is so much chemistry and love between them. They seem so natural when they are together. I’m so glad they’re best friends in real life, too. Anyway, she’s also an amazing singer. Not to mention, she’s hilarious (see One 2 Ka 4). I hate how they’re making her play small, motherly roles just because she’s aged. But she’s still one of the brightest stars around. I love Juhi Chawla so damn much ♥

Is it just me or does she freakishly resemble Aishwarya Rai?
Please tell me it’s not just me.

"An ocean without a Shore...": Who ever said that Ground Zero never effected Muslims? It effected all Americans.

claerwen:

Why are these ads and hateful people making that awful assumption? So many Muslims died that day and for Islam to be blamed is ridiculous and ignorant. We all know that Sarah Palin is as dumb as it gets but imagine how many people who are mourning those who died really believe the things she says. The thought that building a Mosque is somehow going against the healing process or that no Muslims were killed that day.

I want everyone who really believes that no Muslims died that day to read the stories of every Muslim who died that day and reconsider spreading the hatred that they are spreading like wildfire.

Rahma Salie died on September 11th along with her unborn child and husband Michael Theodoridis. She was 7 months pregnant.

This is another story I came across…

“Imagine being the family of Salman Hamdani.  The 23-year-old New York City police cadet was a part-time ambulance driver, incoming medical student, and devout Muslim.  When he disappeared on September 11, law enforcement officials came to his family, seeking him for questioning in relation to the terrorist attacks.  They allegedly believed he was somehow involved.  His whereabouts were undetermined for over six months, until his remains were finally identified.  He was found near the North Tower, with his EMT medical bag beside him, presumably doing everything he could to help those in need.  His family could finally rest, knowing that he died the hero they always knew him to be.”

We are a country. We are all Americans. Anything that effects one of us, effects us all. Stop telling Muslim Americans that they were not effected because it is wrong and hurtful.

Here is a list of more Muslims who passed away on September 11th.
